Canterbury High School Course Registration
Course selection for the 2015/16 school year will be completed online at the Career Cruising website (link below). The Course Planner section of the website is available for students to plan their course selections. Students will be able to SUBMIT their course selections as of Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 4:00 PM until midnight on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Student Services will be hosting an Course Selection information session for parents of students in grade 9, 10 and 11 on Thursday, January 15th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium.
Additional course selection information, including presentations from the parent info-session on January 15th and student grade assemblies on February 3rd, will be available on the Student Services website:
Course Registration: Checklist
In order to make sure that your course selections are submitted electronically by the due date (February 25), please follow these simple steps.
Login to your user account on Career Cruising. Follow the instructions on the login page
On the upper right side of the login page is a Course Planner demo video which we recommend you review prior to accessing your course planner for registration
Make your course selections.
Double-check you have included your required courses.
Double-check you have the right number of courses.
You may print a draft of your course requests which you may review with your counsellor if necessary.
If you are completely satisfied with your course selections Click “Submit.” Once you have clicked the “Submit” button your course selections are locked and NO changes can be made.
Click “Report.” Print “Sign Off Page” (the summary of your course selections which includes the media release form).
Sign your report and have your parent/guardian sign your report.
If you have chosen a Focus, SHSM or Outdoor Education Program please print out and complete the application form(s) (see below).
Bring in all of the completed and signed paperwork to your Period 1 teacher on or before Wednesday, February 25.
All students must print a copy of the Sign Off Sheet (from the Course Planner website) detailing final course selections.
